My Next Journey!

Hola,

      Well  my  journey  is  to  have a  relationship  and  eventually  get  married . I have been alone for about  2 years( by choice).  Now  that  I’m  going  on  forty five, my kids are grown and  had time for my self . I  want to find someone who will respect,be honest, and most of all help each other.   He don’t have to be prince charming, race is not an issue, don’t have to have mega money.  My only limit is how many kids he has.(I  think over 6 too many). LOL  Well if I don’t find that o.k too Sometimes being alone is good. LOL.

        Well as for me I’m a hispanic, 45,divorced woman, I don’t drink,smoke, love to cook, travel, and love to share walks and watch movies.

Career Journey

             My Career Journey is long and am still working on it, I know I have done a lot of odds and end jobs, like Mc’ds, factory, receptionist. But my goal and career is to become a Medical Translator/RN.  I have already Graduated “09″  from Sanford Brown and got my Medical assisting Diploma. Now I have to take classes to improve my ability to read and write in spanish, after that I will enroll my self  at Mt.Mary or Alverno for R.N classes.It will take time and patients but I think we could learn something new every day; about how we can strive to complete and improve are Careers, attitudes,  and especially are Lives.

My Spiritual Journey

I would like to say my spiritual Journey has a lot of  emotions, when I was little my grandmother would talk to me about certain dos and don’ts about church, and because she believed in bujerea(witchcraft). I listened to the different folk tales. I still can remember her stories. My grandmother passed away in 1982 she had me baptised catholic but as a teenager I  started studying the pentecost religion. All I know is that I have a lot of faith and I believe that as my grandma use to say It is not how many times you fall but how many times you pick your self up.

Physical Journey

       My first emotional physical travel journey was to Puerto Rico, I was 20 Years old I went with my son which at the time was 4 (back in 86) it was exciting but at the same time i was all nerves.  I was visiting my Father for the first time, which at the time he had 2 of my half  sister living with him. When I got off the plane you could feel the tropical difference, seeing my sisters was weird one looked like my sister that I was raised with the other one looked like her mother not are father. They also was shock to see how much I looked like my father side of the family( only due to my is  father dark tone skin and my mother was light skinned. My mother pasted away when I was 18 yrs old their mother pasted when they were 3  and 4 yrs old)it was nice &   sad at the same time Sad because it took 20 years later to meet them, nice because my son go to meet his aunts.  It was so nice to traveling the island and meeting family members, the food, sites just even taking a walk on the beach was emotional.

Coming home was even more exciting because my dad allowed my youngest sister to come home with me for 2 weeks.  She then went to spend rest of summer with another daughter which is her whole sister.

Well all I can say is if you ever have time off look at taking a trip to Puerto Rico,

My Life Education Old & New.

Hola!  Hi There, my name is lissy,

My Education is growing with time. I decided to go back to school after my children were grown. First I went back to get my GED that was in 03, always taking little course here and there, like keyboarding, Words, After time I wanted to do something in medical field i like taking care of people especially the elderly, and because i speak two languages I could use it so when patients need my help with the speaking barrier. I went and got my diploma in Medical assisting in 09 that was a challenge but with help from God,Children & some close friend I graduated.

Now I Still continue my education taking this class which is Intermediate Computers & Communication.

I like my class and plan on growing in my Style of communication.
